ConvertForce requires WordPress 5.0 or later with the default block editor (Gutenberg) enabled. The block editor powers the campaign builder — it’s where notification bars, popups, and slide-ins are designed and configured.
ConvertForce works alongside any page builder, including Elementor, Beaver Builder, Thrive Architect, Divi, and others.
Campaigns created in ConvertForce operate independently from the page builder used to design a page. For example, a notification bar or popup can be displayed on a homepage built with Elementor without any conflict. ConvertForce handles the campaign, and the page builder handles the page layout. The two don’t interact.
Important: Page builder compatibility means ConvertForce campaigns can be displayed on pages built with any builder. The campaign builder itself is always powered by the WordPress block editor.
ConvertForce is not compatible with the Classic Editor plugin. The Classic Editor plugin replaces the WordPress block editor, which ConvertForce depends on to build campaigns.
If the Classic Editor plugin is active, ConvertForce will not function. To use ConvertForce, deactivate the Classic Editor plugin and ensure the default block editor is enabled.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| WordPress version | 5.0 or later |
| Editor | Block editor (Gutenberg) — must be active |
| Page builders | Compatible with all (Elementor, Divi, etc.) |
| Classic Editor plugin | Not compatible — must be deactivated |
Does ConvertForce work with Elementor, Divi, or other page builders?
Yes. ConvertForce campaigns run independently from page builders. A popup or notification bar created in ConvertForce can appear on any page, regardless of how that page was built.
Can I use a page builder to design campaigns in ConvertForce?
No. The campaign builder is powered by the WordPress block editor. Page builder compatibility means campaigns can be displayed on pages built with any builder, not that campaigns are designed using those builders.
Why doesn’t ConvertForce work with the Classic Editor plugin?
The Classic Editor plugin disables the WordPress block editor, which ConvertForce relies on to build campaigns. Deactivating the Classic Editor plugin restores the block editor and allows ConvertForce to function normally.
I’m using Elementor but also have the block editor available. Will ConvertForce work?
Yes. As long as the Classic Editor plugin is not active, the block editor remains available alongside Elementor, and ConvertForce will work without issues.
