FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

What ConvertForce does, what it doesn’t, and what’s coming next.

Is ConvertForce free?

Yes. ConvertForce is listed for free on WordPress.org and includes all three campaign types (notification bars, lightbox popups, and slide-ins) with the Time Delay trigger. ConvertForce Pro is a paid upgrade that adds Exit Intent, Scroll Depth, and User Inactivity triggers, plus additional templates and priority support.

Does ConvertForce work with the Classic Editor?

No. ConvertForce is a Gutenberg-native plugin and requires the WordPress block editor. It is not compatible with the Classic Editor plugin. If your site uses Classic Editor, ConvertForce won’t work until you switch to Gutenberg.

Does ConvertForce slow down my WordPress site?

No. WP Hive’s independent testing places ConvertForce in the top 1% of WordPress plugins for memory efficiency. The plugin adds approximately 11.19 KB to your frontend memory per page load, creates zero database tables, and adds zero entries to wp_options. The public WP Hive report is available at wphive.com.

Can ConvertForce send emails or integrate with my email marketing tool?

Not yet. Email integration with services like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, and ActiveCampaign is planned for a future ConvertForce Pro release. Today, you can embed any third-party form block (such as a Gutenberg form plugin) inside a ConvertForce popup or slide-in to handle email capture.

Does ConvertForce support exit intent and scroll-triggered popups?

Yes, in ConvertForce Pro. The free version of ConvertForce includes the Time Delay trigger. Exit Intent, Scroll Depth, and User Inactivity triggers are available in ConvertForce Pro for more precise targeting of visitor behavior.

Who is ConvertForce for?

ConvertForce is for WordPress site owners, bloggers, online stores, and agencies who want to add notification bars, lightbox popups, and slide-ins to their sites using the block editor they already know. It is especially well-suited to performance-conscious teams who don’t want a heavy popup plugin slowing down their site.
