A Poptin alternative that never counts your traffic.

Why Switch

Six reasons to stop paying by the visitor.

Your traffic is not billable

Poptin counts every unique visitor who loads a page carrying its snippet, whether or not they ever see a popup. A traffic spike raises your bill. ConvertForce does not meter anything.

1000 sites, one price

Poptin allows one domain on Basic and four on Pro. ConvertForce Pro covers every site you run for $79 a year, up to 1000 sites, which matters most if you build for clients.

A usable free tier

Poptin’s free plan stops at 1,000 visitors a month and puts Poptin branding on your popups. ConvertForce is free on WordPress.org with no visitor ceiling and no badge.

Built for the block editor

Poptin has its own drag and drop builder in a hosted dashboard. ConvertForce campaigns are built with the same Gutenberg blocks you already use for posts and pages.

No snippet, no third party

Poptin runs through a JavaScript snippet, and campaigns and leads live on Poptin’s servers. ConvertForce stores everything in your own WordPress database.

Lightweight by design

ConvertForce adds about 11 KB to your frontend, verified by WP Hive’s independent testing, with no new database tables and no wp_options entries.

Poptin pricing, plan limits, and feature availability verified against poptin.com/pricing in July 2026, using annual billing rates. Poptin defines a unique monthly visitor as anyone loading a page carrying its snippet within the last 30 days. ConvertForce performance values independently verified by WP Hive.

When Poptin is the better choice.

Poptin is generous with features. Almost every trigger and targeting rule it offers, including exit intent, A/B testing, geolocation, and scheduling, is available on its free plan. What Poptin limits is traffic and branding, not capability. That is a real strength and worth saying plainly.

Choose Poptin if you run A/B tests, need geolocation targeting or campaign scheduling today, want gamified and coupon popups, rely on its 70+ native integrations, want email automation in the same tool, or run popups on Shopify, Wix, or any platform that is not WordPress. ConvertForce does not match any of that yet.

Choose ConvertForce if your traffic is growing and you would rather not pay for it, you run several WordPress sites, you want campaigns built with blocks rather than in a separate dashboard, and you want your campaign and lead data staying on your own server. At $39.50 a year for unlimited sites against $240 for a single domain, the gap widens with every site you add.

FAQ

Switching questions, answered honestly.

How does Poptin count monthly visitors?

Poptin counts a unique visitor as anyone who loads one of your pages carrying its snippet within the previous 30 days. That is total site traffic, not popup views. A site with 40,000 monthly visitors needs the Pro plan even if only a few hundred people ever see a campaign. ConvertForce does not count visitors or impressions at all.

Is ConvertForce cheaper than Poptin?

Yes, and the gap grows with traffic and sites. ConvertForce Pro is $39.50 a year for unlimited sites. Poptin Basic is $240 a year on annual billing for one domain and 10,000 monthly visitors, Pro is $564 for four domains and 50,000 visitors, and Agency is $1,140. ConvertForce pricing does not change as your traffic grows.

Does Poptin’s free plan add branding to popups?

Yes. Poptin’s pricing page lists unbranded campaigns as a paid feature, so free lan popups carry Poptin branding. Removing it requires the Basic plan at $240 a year. ConvertForce does not add branding to campaigns on any plan.

Can I move my Poptin campaigns to ConvertForce?

There is no automatic importer, since Poptin campaigns live on its servers rather than in your WordPress database. Rebuilding is quick because you design directly with blocks. Export your existing leads from Poptin first, recreate each campaign, set its display rules and trigger, publish, then remove the Poptin snippet from your site.

Does ConvertForce have A/B testing like Poptin?

Not yet. Poptin includes A/B testing on every plan, including its free tier, and that is a genuine advantage. If split testing is central to how you run campaigns, Poptin covers it better today. ConvertForce currently provides impression and conversion tracking so you can measure a campaign, just not compare two variants automatically.

Will ConvertForce slow down my site?

No. WP Hive’s independent testing places ConvertForce in the top 1% of WordPress plugins for memory efficiency. It adds about 11 KB to your frontend, creates zero database tables, and adds zero wp_options entries. Poptin loads an external snippet from its own servers instead.
