A Popup Maker alternative built inside the block editor.

Why Switch

Six reasons to leave the legacy builder.

Native block editor

Build campaigns the same way you build posts and pages. Popup Maker gives you a separate settings and theming system to learn. ConvertForce gives you the editor you already use every day.

Lightweight by design

ConvertForce adds about 11 KB to your frontend, verified by WP Hive’s independent testing. A third-party benchmark measured Popup Maker at roughly 81 KB of scripts and styles per page load.

One Pro tier, no add-ons

Exit Intent, Scroll Depth, and User Inactivity are all part of a single Pro license. No stacking extensions, no per-feature pricing, no surprise tiers.

Three campaign types built in

Notification bars, lightbox popups, and slide-ins are first-class campaign types. In Popup Maker, bars and slide-ins take manual positioning work to approximate.

Unlimited sites on one license

ConvertForce Pro covers every site you run for $39.50 per year. Popup Maker Pro starts at $99 per year for a single site.

Zero Bloat

No new database tables. No wp_options entries. Campaign data lives in your existing WordPress database and stays out of your site’s way.

FAQ

Switching questions, answered honestly.

Is ConvertForce easier to use than Popup Maker?

If you already use the block editor, yes. Popup Maker is a capable plugin, but it has its own settings system, theming screens, and terminology to learn. ConvertForce ampaigns are built with the same Gutenberg blocks you use for posts and pages, there is no second interface between vou and a live popup.

Will ConvertForce slow down my site?

No. WP Hive’s independent testing places ConvertForce in the top 1% of WordPress plugins for memory efficiency. It adds about 11 KB to your frontend, creates zero database tables, and adds zero wp_options entries. The public report is available at wphive.com.

Can I switch from Popup Maker to ConvertForce?

Yes. There is no automatic importer, but rebuilding a campaign in ConvertForce usually takes a few minutes because you design it directly with blocks. Recreate your popup, set its display rules and trigger, publish it, then deactivate Popup Maker. Running both plugins at once is not recommended.

Does the free version of ConvertForce have limits?

The free version includes all three campaign types, the Time Delay trigger, display rules by URL, post type, and device, unlimited campaigns and impressions, and unlimited sites. Pro adds the Exit Intent, Scroll Depth, and User Inactivity triggers, premium templates, and priority support.

Does ConvertForce work with block themes?

Yes. ConvertForce works with block themes and classic themes, and it plays well with caching and performance plugins. The only requirement is the block editor itself, so it is not compatible with the Classic Editor plugin.

What does Popup Maker do that ConvertForce does not?

Popup Maker Pro includes campaign scheduling, which ConvertForce does not offer yet, and its ecosystem of form integrations is larger today. If those are must- haves for you right now, Popup Maker may be the better fit. If you want a lighter plugin with a native editing experience and one affordable license for every site you run, that is what ConvertForce is built for.
